The beautiful Beach

Redleaf decided to go back to camp, via the promonarde

Island arrived on the beach with Lilac-pond. The tide was in and the moon shone down on the water. Island used his powers to walk on the water in the light of the moon. He walked to a large cave, only accessible by the water, and padded in over the waves until he got to warm sand at the back. The cave smelled strangely sweet. He lay Lilac-pond down on the warm sand and lay down himself a little way off, ready to sleep.

Lilac-Pond awoke. Trembling and bleeding. There was one thought in her mind. She had to talk to Hawkpelt so she limped her way to the sewers.

Island trapped Lilac-pond in a shaft of moonlight and pulled her back into the cafe.
"You have to rest before you go out anywhere. You need to at least stay here until tomorrow. You got badly injured."

((Oh yay I'm in a cafe - can I have a coffee please XD))

"LET ME GO" she screamed and bit Island's paw and tried to run off again.

Island held Lilac firmly in a beam of moonlight before licking her wounds.
"Hold still. You were badly hurt. You can go when you're a little better, ok? You almost died back there, I had to carry you here before you were killed in the second bout of fighting."

"Stop licking me, I'm not a kit" she said pushing him away before licking her own wounds. "I'm fine, these wounds aren't bad - it's just a scratch now let me go".

Island healed the wounds as best he could with moonlight, before he bound them in some cobwebs.
"I guess I can't just keep you here. Well, Good luck. A thanks would have been nice, but yeah, doesn't matter much." he laughed. "Go see who you need to see."

The illusion apperead here. The grey kit with flashing amber eyes.

Lilac-Pond walked out silently walked to the Sewers. To talk with Hawkpelt.

Island fell asleep on the sand in the cave.

The illusion padded towards the sleeping cat.

The sleeping cat's left ear pricked slightly and a large moonbeam flooded into the cave, pushing the illusion out and dispersing it temporarily. The tide rose higher and formed a wall of water across the cave to prevent re-entry.

The illusion vanished, a mew filling the cave

"That was strange." muttered Island, half asleep, before rolling over and falling back into dreams.

There was more mewling

Island woke with a start.
"Geez, too noisy!" he complained. "Still, I guess I'm not going to properly sleep until I make sure Lilac is ok. I hate to admit it, but I guess I kinda like her. Fiesty and determined, hmm..." he muttered to himself, before walking out of the cave and onto the water, before bounding to the promenade and towards Darkshadow territory.
