"So, where is she now? Did you ask her to wait for you anywhere? Here's a little tip. If you do leave a kit anywhere, don't think they'll just sit and wait patiently for you like an adult. Stil, I ASSUME you left her somewhere safe." Sunny winked.

Nix regarded the cats silently and wondered what to do. They were trespassing, no doubt, but the fight would be unevenly matched. He saw what powers they had, and it was no match for his. C'mon...just a little fun...?

Sunny walked back to the Goldtail den to do some hunting - she was hungry and bounded happily to the park.

Rosebud was about to walk back to check on Lolly when she saw Nix out of the corner of her eye. She jumped round scared because of the Darkshadow cat she saw.

She drew up her courage and approached the cat. "Why?" she mewed trying to sound threatening.

Nix glared back at her and stepped back. "Figure it out." he hissed, his eyes glowing purple in the darkness. He conjured up an illusion of a furious ghostly Nightscar behind him and waited for the reaction.

Rosebud stepped back shaking her head. "It can't be" then she heard a voice, breaking through Lolly's protection and it laughed, laughed at her fear. She clutched he hear in pain covering her ears.

Nix made the illusion leap forward at her, it's eyes blazing with malice.

Rosebud dodged out of the way but not in time but she unsheathed her claws and pounced at the illusion but just succeeding in landing on the hard concrete floor.

Nix spun around and fled while Rosebud was distracted, the illusion disappearing as well.

Rosebud realized it was an illusion and saw the cat flee. She ran after him cursing at herself under her breath.

Nix dared himself to look back and frowned when he saw Rosebud follow him. He leapt up onto a high brick wall and watched her arrive. "Why are you following me?"
